Ms. Pham have over 10 years of experience in executive leadership, management and community development, and public health services. In each of her previous professional experience, she lead efforts to achieve organizational goals using a set of skills that include: organizational development, strategic planning and partnerships, coalition building, and policy development and advocacy, fundraising, management coaching, and team building. She sees herself as an effective leader, a strategic thinker, an advocate for inclusive capacity building while leading community initiatives that promote personal and communal well-being. Ms. Pham brings business acumen and a compassionate core to the organization with knowledge in accounting, finance, and economics. Before taking the position of Executive Director for VSS of MN, Ms. Pham was executive director of another nonprofit, VietAID (Vietnamese American Initiative for Development), and Executive Director for the Center for Academics and Sports at the University of St. Thomas College of Education in Minneapolis, and corporate companies such as IBM and AT & T. She also has worked in community outreach and resource development capacities, some specifically with Vietnamese Americans. In the past, Pham has also managed child welfare and adoption programs in Vietnam and Thailand.
